A Zajal-powered video installation done by Brooklyn-based artist Haitham Ennasr. It uses the experimental Arduino support to control video playback and LED prompts to comment on the levantine tradition of waking up to the singer Fairuz.
This project is the best example of Zajal’s Arduino interface that is based on naming pins. Lines 19-21 set up the pin names and operating modes. Lines 44, 46, 73, and 74 write to
the named digital pins coffee and cig while lines 62 and 69 read from the analog pin named ir.
